For the Fall/Winter 2020 season, Louis Vuitton womenswear artist director Nicolas Ghesquire revisits its iconic Monogram motif and new “Since 1854” house print in a shoe collection modelled by Berlin-based South Korean DJ and influencer Peggy Gou.
First presented in the brand’s FW20 show in March, the collection features urban, casual and boyish silhouettes that embrace a gender fluid aesthetic.
The Since 1854 jacquard textile is seen on the Silhouette ankle boot and the Podium sandal – both of which also feature the signature Monogram flower heel – as well as the iconic LV Archlight sneakers. There’s also a vintage, scratch version of sneakers for those who prefer a pared down style.
On the other hand, the Monogram canvas debuts on the more masculine silhouettes such as the Beauborg platform derby and Chelsea boots, Laureate platform dessert boots, Matador ankle boots and Metropolis ranger boots.
Photographed by French fashion photographer Bruno Staub, the campaign depicts Peggy wearing highlighted pieces from the collection on the streets of Berlin. Discover the campaign imagery and footwear collection in the gallery below.
