If you thought summer was cancelled because of COVID-19, think again as our favourite beauty labels have come up with launches that you’ll want to show off – without compromising on hygiene and safety (don’t forget to wear your masks!).
With so many hidden gems to explore in our country, there’s your excuse to wear makeup out and about or level up your skincare game for natural, glowing skin in all your photo mementos. NARS Orgasm X Summer 2020 collection
The NARS Orgasm blush has been a beauty icon since 1999, expanding from a single blush to a full range of makeup palettes and lip products. That range just got bigger with the debut of the Nars Orgasm X Summer 2020 collection, comprising of a blush, two quad eyeshadow palettes, one travel-sized mini eyeshadow palette, one cheek palette and two oil-infused lip tints. The new lineup is inspired by the original shade’s bolder, darker sister: Orgasm X – a deep pink that’s as provocative as it sounds – and comes in matte, satin and shimmery finishes. Gucci Beauty summer collection
Following the launch of its eye and face makeup collection, Gucci Beauty has unveiled a summer collection featuring a range of bronzers and nail polishes. The former is named Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil, offering five warm shades that deliver a natural, sun-kissed glow with a luminous finish. Packaged in a gorgeous aqua blue and gold-trimmed compact with an applicator, the bronzer is designed to blend easily to create a blurred, smooth complexion. The latter Vernis à Ongles capsule collection consists of a selection of five vibrant shades that are perfect for summer, inspired by iconic Hollywood movies and characters. Each polish features a high-shine formula with a glossy finish, arriving in a smooth cylindrical glass bottle topped with a pale pink lid. The collection is available from 1st August 2020 at the Gucci Beauty Suria KLCC store.
Clarins Total Eye Lift
Say goodbye to dark eye circles, droopy eyes and wrinkles with the latest Total Eye Lift from Clarins. Whether you’re 25 or 40, it’s not too early nor too late to treat the delicate eye area – the first thing most people notice when making conversation. In case you missed the big news, Rihanna has officially launched the first lineup for Fenty Skin! The clean, vegan and earth-conscious range includes the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum and Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF30 Sunscreen. Cancel makeup wipes with the 2-in-1 makeup remover-cleanser that promises to remove dirt, oil and longwear makeup without stripping or drying. Follow up with the unique toner-serum formula that is made with skin-loving ingredients such as niacinamide, Barbados cherry, green tea and fig to refine pores, even out skin tone and reduce dark spots.
