Probably one of the most challenging elements of transitioning to a vegan or plant-based lifestyle is first and foremost – figuring out what to cook or prepare that isn’t just a bowl of leaves and salad greens. Another one being what are the best swaps for the meat in your burgers, the eggs in your frittata, and the stuffing in your favourite dim sum.
Fortunately, practising a vegan lifestyle is slowly becoming more of a norm for a lot of people, and the internet as well as social media is a treasure trove of inspiration and ideas to help fill out your plant-based recipe repertoire.
So whether you’re looking to follow up from Veganuary, looking to explore new recipes, or are simply looking into becoming more plant-based, here some of our favourite vegan IG accounts to follow some delicious #foodinspo.

Let’s face it, a lot of our favourite Asian dishes rely heavily on meats and fish – making it all that much trickier to vegan-ise them. This is where we turn to Jeeca, who transforms some of your favourite Asian meals such as dumplings, spring rolls, and baos into delicious, vegan versions. Her IG feed truly feels homey at heart, featuring vibrant, spice-laden photos of her dishes that might even impress some of your more stubborn family members.

Scroll through the BOSH! IG feed and you wouldn’t think that it was one dedicated to creating scrumptious vegan recipes. Led by British duo Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, their feed features easy-to-follow plant-based recipes that remix classic dishes, such as “Fish” and Chips using tofu and Gochujang Cauliflower Schnitzel with Rice and Kimchi. The two started BOSH! after realising that there wasn’t enough good vegan food available, coupled by their own lack of knowledge in cooking. Their recipes are definitely beginner-friendly, without the use of fancy ingredients to create realistic, everyday meals.

If you’re looking to get educated on veganism, 27-year-old Ed Winters and his platform is a pretty good place to start. as a vegan educator, public speaker, and content creator, Ed is known for his viral debates and speeches talking about the benefits of veganism and how it holds up against compelling arguments by non-vegans (check out his take on the topic of how vegans technically kill more animals).

Even for the busiest vegans out there, this feed is proof that plant-based recipes don’t need to be comprised of several different veggies and fruits in order to be healthy. Most of these recipes are vegan, feature 10 ingredients or less, and take less than an hour to whip up – meaning you won’t have any other excuse to try out a vegan diet or practising Meat-less Mondays.
