TUDOR and Swiss Watch saluted the strength of their long-standing, 12-year partnership with the opening of a new boutique in the premier lifestyle retail destination of 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya last week.
The latest store in 1 Utama joins eight other TUDOR points-of-sale by Swiss Watch locations, among them Pavilion KL, Genting SkyAvenue, Gurney Paragon, Johor Premium Outlets, KLIA and Resorts World Sentosa.
Perched prominently in the immense mall’s newly renovated wing, the new TUDOR boutique boasts a daring, distinctive design that reflects the bold identity of the brand’s timepieces. The luxury watchmaker’s signature colours of black, red and white anchored the space, inviting all to immerse themselves in the world of TUDOR.
Around 300 guests came out to help TUDOR and Swiss Watch celebrate the grand opening of the store. International presenter Cay Kuijpers kicked off the evening, gracing the stage to welcome all attendees before multiple-award winning percussion ensemble, Hands Percussion, took the stage to rouse the crowd with a phenomenal 7-min drum performance.
Present to officiate the event was Executive Director of Valiram Mukesh Valiram, Chief Executive Officer of Valiram Ian Lim, General Manager of Tudor Southeast Asia Cla Riedi, and Executive Director of 1 Utama Teo Chui Ping.
“Since the first TUDOR standalone store in Pavilion KL seven years ago, we have always believed in the brand. This amazing partnership with TUDOR will continue to expand in the region,” said Mukesh Valiram.
There was no shortage of energetic entertainment during the evening, as Singaporean hip-hop star Yung Raja further pumped up the audience with his unique brand of Tamil-English rap, performing notable hits like Mustafa and The Dance Song.
Between enjoying DJ Luq Here’s eclectic music set and specially customised cocktails, guests also got an exclusive up-close and in-person look at the new TUDOR 2022 watches as well as the newly opened boutique.
