The year 2020 may not have been the year for makeup, but that has not stopped Rihanna. In July, she launched a new skincare brand named Fenty Skin (now available in Sephora Malaysia!), completing the beauty routine for passionate Fenty Beauty enthusiasts.
Now that we’re in the New Year, we’re all slowly adapting to the current situation better and slowly going back to makeup once again – even while wearing masks. Fenty Beauty channels this spirit with the launch of two new products: the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation and the Gloss Bomb Color Drip Lip Cream.
Following the success of Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r face products, Fenty Beauty decided on creating the powder version of the soft matte foundation, which makes for a perfect base for under-the-mask makeup thanks to its easy application, lightweight formulation, and better resistance against transfer. For a buttery smooth powder texture and a promise of long-lasting wear, it took Rihanna three whole years to perfect its formulation.
Whether you just need a little pick-me-up for the skin or full coverage, the powder foundation features a buildable formula that won’t flake or cake on you. Oily skinned-folks will rejoice, as it’s also humidity- and sweat-free, which will definitely come in handy when the scorching weather returns. And of course, the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation will come in 50 shades, and its colour code can be matched to the original Pro Filt’r foundation for existing users of the latter.
Now let’s move on to the lips. If you love the pigment of Stunna Lip Paint but crave for the hi-shine and comfort of Gloss Bomb, get ready to meet the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Color Drip Lip Cream. It comes available in five show-stopping shades: Mauve Wive$ (a muted, mauve-pink), Fenty Glow (an orange-toned rosy nude), Honey Waffles (a rich, golden nude), Cookie Jar (a warm-toned chocolate copper), and Fruit Snackz (a deep, cool-toned berry).
Each shade brings brilliant shine without the shimmer, hand-picked by Rihanna that will flatter all skin tones. The formulation is buildable, vegan, and infused with Vitamin A to nourish the lips. Finishing it off is the XXL doe-foot applicator for easy application. While shiny lip creams are trickier to pull off when wearing masks, Fenty Beauty encourages you to do it anyway – simply because the formulation and shades are so irresistible.
The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation is priced at RM162, while the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream is priced at RM101. Both can be purchased online and in-stores at Sephora.
