May is coming in strong with a slew of fresh drops worth taking note of, including limited-edition collections for the avid beauty collectors. We’re seeing new fragrances from the likes of Kate Spade New York and Bvlgari, and more makeup thanks to luxury houses such as Dior Beauty, Burberry Beauty and Gucci Beauty. Skincare isn’t forgotten, with launches from both K-beauty brands (Dr. Jart) and Western labels (Dermalogica) alike.

Kate Spade New York fragrance

Meet the new house signature namesake fragrance from Kate Spade New York, embodying the joyous, youthful spirit of the brand in a feminine scent. Created by Perfumer Marie Salamagne, the floral-fruity fragrance encapsulates the colourful and carefree nature of a wild strawberry, which opens the perfume alongside citrusy bergamot. A floral heart of rose essence and freesia evokes femininity, whilst the drydown of ambroxan and cashmeran adds depth and confidence. It is housed in an elegant, curvy bottle with an enamel ring at the base of the cap, featuring the brand’s signature pink tone complemented by three gold spades.

Kiehl’s Limited-Edition Commemorative Collection

In conjunction with the brand’s 170^th anniversary, Kiehl’s is launching a limited-edition commemorative collection offering its best-selling formulas of all time, namely the Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Ultra Facial Cream, Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner, and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. The exclusive collection comes in new white and gold-accented glass packaging, highlighting its ongoing commitment towards sustainability using more eco-conscious materials.

Available online for 3 days only from 14^th May to 16^th May 2021, before arriving in-store from 17^th May 2021 onwards.

Gucci Beauty Rouge de Beaute Brilliant

Forget dry lips from wearing too much lipstick with Gucci Beauty’s new Rouge de Beaute Brilliant collection, featuring a hybrid formula that offers the moisture of a balm and pigmentation of a lipstick. Combining flower oils, fruit butters, and hyaluronic acid, the innovative lip product claims to impart colour, moisture and shine for up to 24 hours. It comes in a range of vibrant hues with a creamy texture that highlights the natural outline of the lips, giving it the appearance of a fuller pout.

Bvlgari OMNIA Capsule Edition by Mary Katrantzou

As part of its next chapter of the “Serpenti Through The Eyes Of” saga, Bvlgari has teamed up with London-based Greek designer Mary Katrantzou to create the OMNIA Capsule Edition by Mary Katrantzou. Collaborating with Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, Katrantzou developed an exclusive new OMNIA fragrance – a floral Eau de Parfum echoing the fashion designer’s maximalist style and creative vision. Like the kaleidoscopic bottle it is housed in, the scent is composed of a vibrant mix of florals including gardenia and orange blossom, with top notes of mandarin and fig leaves. Three iconic OMNIA scents – OMNIA Crystalline, OMNIA Amethyste and OMNIA Coral — have also been refreshed to accompany the new EDP, each featuring lush designs underscoring its key floral ingredient.

Paying tribute to the world of film, the House of Dior has released a limited-edition capsule of its most iconic lipsticks. The Rouge Dior Star Edition comes in five dazzling shades curated by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, ranging from nude, pink, orange and red. They feature a suave matte look and velvet finish, with stars engraved onto the bullet. Formulated with red peony, pomegranate flower and shea butter, it helps to protect, smooth and nourish your lips while delivering a couture-ready lip look.

Dermalogica Clear Start Cooling Aqua Jelly
