We’re quickly making our way past the mid-year, and what better way to enliven the second half of a dulled year than by refreshing our bag collection? As we approach the Fall season, brands have launched new capsule collections and reinvented some of their signature designs – giving fashion and style enthusiasts something to look forward to and collect.
From the newest statement piece from maison Loewe to Burberry’s tribute to its founder, keep scrolling to find which styles we’re looking to bag.
Longchamp Le Pliage Green
Following up on its commitment in sustainability, Longchamp has taken another step towards Green fashion with the new Le Pliage Green. The world’s most iconic foldable bag has now been reinvented with recycled nylon, which also marks the start of Longchamp’s transition to using this responsible material throughout the entire Le Pliage collection by 2022.
So whether you’re looking to bag a backpack or top handle from the collection, this new collection comes in an array of nature-inspired colours: Forest, Ocean, Earth and limited edition Snow. Discreet details that set it apart from the original include tonal “Russian leather” trim and an embroidered Longchamp racehorse logo, while its famous “ears” at each end of the zip closure feature light green edges.

Loewe Goya
At the heart of Loewe’s AW21 women’s runway collection is none other than the new Goya bag – compact, structured, and beautifully vibrant. Introduced in a new silk calfskin that stays true to the Maison’s leather craft heritage, the bag features a neat Anagram closure and vivid colourways to contrast its sharp and modernist simplicity. Inside, the bag is lined with soft nappa lambskin for a luxurious touch.
Available in three sizes, the Goya is available in a rich colour palette which explores various tones of warm desert, tan, and avocado green, as well as dabbles in candy-coloured hues of bright yellow, cyan, and a rich red. But of course, minimalists can also opt for a black and soft white version.

Fendi First
A structural yet relaxed statement piece that was introduced during AW21, the Fendi First bag pays tribute to the off-kilter irreverence of the Maison – combining a deconstructed silhouette with elegant softness. Crafted from soft nappa leather, the iconic Fendi monogram is oversized and fixed onto the bag as the metal clasp closure. It comes in three different sizes, a bag strap and foldable hooks for versatile wear – and is also available in several variations ranging from leather and wool, to python and shearling.

On the bag front, the medium Lady D-lite bag is dressed in red and white embroidery, as well as the Dior Book Tote. The Lady Dior is given a bright red lambskin treatment, covered in heart-shaped Cannage stitching to truly make the quilted texture stand out, and then further embellished with a heart motif.

Burberry TB Summer Monogram
Inspired by the optimism and spirit of summer, Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci has dedicated the TB Summer Monogram collection to founder Thomas Burberry. The collection, fronted by a CGI Naomi Campbell created by artist Frederik Heyman, features an eye-catching colourway of cobalt blue, deep royal blue, and mid grey, accompanied by bold interlocking TB initials of the monogram.
Burberry’s Lola bag comes available in quilted monogram lambskin in cobalt and black, or a black and grey version accentuated by vivid red lines.
