Thai stars have proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the fashion scene. The world has been witnessing these celebrities’ sartorial prowess on the covers of magazines and the front rows of fashion weeks. And now the luxury sector has also welcomed them with open arms as records have proven that they have the power of persuasion and the reach to expand audiences and target markets. Signaling the strength of the Thai entertainment industry, brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more have tapped familiar Thai faces to be brand ambassadors and there’s no slowing down.
From Thai heartthrobs such as Gulf Kanawut and Dew Jirawat to powerhouse actresses Urassaya Sperbund and Davika Hoorne, here are the Thai stars who have been crowned by international luxury brands as their brand ambassadors.

In 2023, Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, also known as Win, made an appearance at Prada’s Spring/Summer 2023 show and kicked off the year by becoming the brand’s global ambassador – making history as the first Thai actor to do so. However, his official foray into the fashion scene was no surprise. Metawin is also an entrepreneur with multiple lifestyle brands under his belt, including his fashion label Velence, which features laid-back wardrobe staples. The Thai heartthrob cemented his status as Thailand’s favourite ‘it’ boy with F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers and the BL drama 2gether: The Series.
Nattawin Wattanagitiphat for Dior
Alongside his KinnPorsche: The Series co-star, Mile Phakpum, Nattawin was officially appointed as Dior’s brand ambassador in 2023 and his front-row attendance at the Dior pre-fall show in Mumbai marked the actor’s first event flaunting his new title. Nattawin is no stranger to the limelight – he started modelling in 2014 and went on to star in several TV series that made him a household name in Thailand. However, it was the aforementioned Thai action romance drama television series that led to his prominence, earning him hordes of fans across the world.
Urassaya Sperbund for Louis Vuitton
The Thai-Norwegian model and actress, famously known as Yaya, has been a friend of Louis Vuitton since 2017. She made her debut as the brand’s ‘it’ girl at the Spring/Summer 2018 show, becoming the first Thai celebrity to join the French fashion house’s ambassador. The actress is regularly spotted in front rows of Louis Vuitton fashion shows around the world, rubbing shoulders with the cream of the global fashion industry. Yaya has made the transition from modelling to acting since her teen years, in which she starred in a series of Thai lakorns that are high on romantic drama.

A rising star in the Thai entertainment industry, Dew Jirawat has just been announced as the newest brand ambassador of Bottega Veneta in April 2024. The 24-year-old actor often appears during the brand’s fashion shows and events, even seated in the front row to witness Blazy’s magic stomp down the runway. Dew’s journey to stardom began when he was approached for photoshoots as a model, eventually leading him to be asked to audition for the role of Ren in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.
Davika Hoorne for Gucci & Bulgari
A household name in Thailand, Davika Hoorne has been spotted at various Gucci events, easily marking her as the first friend of the brand in Thailand ever since. Furthermore, the Thai-Belgian actress was appointed as Bulgari’s brand ambassador for the South Asian Pacific region as she attended the presentation of their high jewellery collection, Eden, The Garden Of Wonders, in 2022. Aside from a star-studded filmography such as Pee Mak and Astrophile, she’s recognised as a style icon, often jet-setting to attend the biggest fashion events.

The 25-year-old heartthrob is most recognised for his roles in 2gether: The Series and F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, which carry his face far beyond Thai borders.
Mile Phakpum for Dior
After skyrocketing to fame with KinnPorsche: The Series, Mile Phakpum found his footing in fashion as a Dior ambassador alongside his co-star Nattawin. Since the appointment, his relationship with the French Maison continues to flourish. The actor has successfully breezed through high-profile fashion events and red carpets, showcasing his prowess as an actor and style icon.
Bella Campen for Fendi
The Thai-British beauty, Rainee “Bella” Campen, first drew the attention of the public when she was crowned Miss Thailand, which in turn started her career in the entertainment industry. Outside of her acting career in which she starred in Porn Prom Onlaweng and the Love Destiny series, Bella got appointed as a friend of Fendi in Thailand back in 2023. The actress’ relationship with the brand has been a long time coming, as she was spotted at the reopening of Fendi’s Emporium boutique in Bangkok, and at the front row of its Fall/Winter 2023 presentations in Milan.
Gulf Kanawut for Gucci
After the appointment of Davika Hoorne as the first Thai-born ambassador for Gucci, the brand strengthened its ties with the country by naming actor Gulf Kanawut as its first male brand ambassador in Thailand. The Bangkok-born star has become a prominent figure in Thailand’s entertainment industry, starring in popular films such as Bua Pen Fun Yap and series like TharnType: The Series and You Are My Makeup Artist.
