And now the luxury sector has also welcomed them with open arms as records have proven that they have the power of persuasion and the reach to expand audiences and target markets. Signaling the strength of the Thai entertainment industry, brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and more have tapped familiar Thai faces to be brand ambassadors and there’s no slowing down.
From Thai heartthrobs such as Gulf Kanawut and Dew Jirawat to powerhouse actresses Urassaya Sperbund and Davika Hoorne, here are the Thai stars who have been crowned by international luxury brands as their brand ambassadors.
Win Metawin for Prada

In 2023, Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, also known as Win, made an appearance at Prada’s Spring/Summer 2023 show and kicked off the year by becoming the brand’s global ambassador – making history as the first Thai actor to do so. However, his official foray into the fashion scene was no surprise. Metawin is also an entrepreneur with multiple lifestyle brands under his belt, including his fashion label Velence, which features laid-back wardrobe staples. The Thai heartthrob cemented his status as Thailand’s favourite ‘it’ boy with F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers and the BL drama 2gether: The Series. This year he was also named brand ambassador for Puma, which saw him in Malaysia to launch the largest Puma store in Southeast Asia yet, in Sunway Pyramid.
Lalisa Manobal for Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton has appointed Blackpink’s Lisa as their newest house ambassador, joining stars like Zendaya and Emma Stone. Artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière praised Lisa’s bold and creative spirit, reflecting both her music and fashion style. Lisa, previously a Celine ambassador, began hinting at her new collaboration with Louis Vuitton by attending their shows and sporting iconic pieces. The timing aligns with the success of her single “Rockstar” and Blackpink’s upcoming 2025 reunion.

She made her debut as the brand’s ‘it’ girl at the Spring/Summer 2018 show, becoming the first Thai celebrity to join the French fashion house’s ambassador. The 24-year-old actor often appears during the brand’s fashion shows and events, even seated in the front row to witness Blazy’s magic stomp down the runway. Dew’s journey to stardom began when he was approached for photoshoots as a model, eventually leading him to be asked to audition for the role of Ren in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.

With his vibrant charisma and youthful allure, the 23-year-old currently represents the brand’s luxurious fragrance line, which includes classics like the men’s Eros family of Versace Eros, Versace Eros Flame, and Versace Eros Energy – the latest fragrance for men that epitomises elegance and boldness.
