This December marks the 50^th anniversary of premium Japanese skincare brand Decorté. To celebrate the golden jubilee, Decorté is proud to welcome Academy Award-winning American actress and filmmaker Brie Larson as their latest brand muse.

Best known for playing Marvel’s first female superhero lead in Captain Marvel, Larson made cinematic history and broke box office records for the role. The same year, she was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People. According to the brand, her “personality that combines beauty with the strength of an unwavering core is the perfect match for the values Decorté cherishes and hopes to offer to the world.”

Fresh face, fresh brand identity

In conjunction with the announcement, Decorté introduced a series of initiatives to further spread its beauty philosophy around the world. The first is a new emblem with a corresponding message: Embrace Your True Beauty, promoting an idea of beauty that is rich in intelligence and dignity.

The second initiative marks a first-of-its-kind virtual Decorté Beauty Journey, which takes netizens on a voyage to different countries that hold significance to the brand. The special website will be accessible from 1 November 2020 and new content will be added to it periodically.

Limited-edition collections

Fans can expect a selection of 50th Anniversary Limited Edition products too, including the brand’s best-selling Moisture Liposome, a Makeup Coffret 2020 Collection and a limited-edition Marcel Wanders Collection Decorté Face Powder X.

A specially designed 50^th anniversary logo based on the original motif of the brand’s emblem will adorn these collections, making them a collector’s item for loyalists.

But the most luxurious collectible of them all is an exclusive AQ Meliority Intensive Regenerating Multi Cream Baccarat Edition. Known as one of the brand’s most premium products, the 50th anniversary edition of the prestigious cream comes in a Baccarat crystal stand and resin spatula. It is crafted by internationally acclaimed designer Marcel Wanders, who has served as brand’s art director since 2010.

Only 999 units of the AQ Meliority Intensive Regenerating Multi Cream Baccarat Edition will be available worldwide from June 2021 onwards, each featuring its own unique serial number.
