If you’ve stayed up to date with some of the recent launches in the beauty world, there’s been a noticeable trend: we’re seeing a lot of new bath and body launches from some of the industry’s biggest beauty brands. This resurgence of new launches that started late last year and continues to pick-up as we head into the second quarter of 2025 bodes well for the skincare junkie that’s looking to boost your body care routine as well.
Most interestingly, we’ve noticed that the clinical skincare and makeup approach has finally hit the bath and body segment of the beauty market. This is especially true since we’re seeing skincare brands expanding into the body territory, while bringing all their tried-and-true technologies into this new product range expansion.
If you’ve been craving a renewal of the bath products industry, things are looking up in the coming year, so keep your eyes peeled for more to come. In the meantime, this list should pique your curiosity for now. From all-new bath and body lines for brands that previously didn’t have them, to new (and refreshed) releases that are adopting a fresh take to body formulas, here are some of the note-worthy products we’ve picked up on in the year so far.
Le Labo
We’re starting off with an entry from the New York niche fragrance extraordinaire Le Labo. Of course, when you’re creating irresistible perfumes, it’s only logical to put those perfumes into body products to surround yourself with fragrance all day. And while Le Labo’s Body, Hair and Face collection isn’t a new launch, it took the spotlight for the brand’s marketing campaigns earlier this year, which also had us sitting up in anticipation.
While we have yet to get something new, it’s worth to note that all-new products are a rarity for Le Labo, who intentionally take their time in creating products meant to remain daily staples for years to come. Consisting of only three scent options across the entire range, Le Labo’s Body, Hair and Face products are a favourite for more than just its arresting scents. Simplifying routines with the clean and cruelty-free formulations makes Le Labo’s body care products one that will stay trending for years to come.
Jo Malone London
Following on from that is another perfume house that’s taken a firmer step into the world of bath and body products. Though Jo Malone London’s fragranced lotions and hand creams have always been a part of its perfume offerings, back in January they unveiled the brand new Care Collection, consisting of seven wellness products to enrich the brand’s bath and body category.
The collection is divided into four categories: restore, revitalise, enrich, and purify, each with its own signature scent blend formulated to add a touch of what the name suggests to your bath time. The seven products span the gamut of a shower routine, from soap bar, scrub, and shower gel right down to body oils, creams, and balms.
The Ordinary
As one of the OG brands to demystify and popularise clinically backed, single ingredient focused skincare products, it’s almost a welcome relief to see that the brand finally turned its attention to the body. Probably offering the most targeted body care products on this list, The Ordinary launched its body care collection with three products: Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum, Niacinimide 5% Face and Body Emulsion, and the Natural Moisturising Factors + Inulin Body Lotion.
Users and fans of The Ordinary’s products might recognise some of these actives, as they’re not only popular skincare darlings, but they also make up some of the brand’s best-sellers. Bringing the same energy and science to body care opens up a new possibility to creating more accessible treatments for body skin barrier, hydration and dark spot fading without going all the way to medicated products instead.
Kiehl’s
Body products aren’t exactly new for Kiehl’s, who have released its fair share of staple body cleansers, creams, and soap bars over the years. But one of its latest body releases puts it firmly within the trend of expanding facial skincare technologies to the body. The Ultra Body Mega Moisture Squalane Cream takes the essences of what makes Kiehl’s best-selling Ultra Facial Cream great and reformulates them into a body skin-appropriate product.
As the name suggests, squalane makes up one of the two active ingredients alongside glacial glycoproteins, both working to instantly hydrate the skin, while the new addition of pro-ceramides extends a reparative and protective benefit. Though this product certainly isn’t the first, it’s a welcome sight to see a more targeted approach to body care that’s more than just the usual cocoa and shea butters.
Rare Beauty
Selena Gomez’s beauty line has always been loved for its easy-to-use formulations and natural finish that always delivers on the clean girl aesthetic. This year, Rare Beauty launched the Find Comfort Bouncy Body Cream, featuring a rich, pudding-like texture with a carefully formulated list of ingredients featuring murumuru and shea butters, jojoba and Tsubaki oils, as well as vitamin E and niacinamide to boost its skin soothing and softening effects.
Housed in a generous 250ml tub, this body cream from Rare Beauty is made for generous use that will hydrate the skin, and fortified with the brand’s new Awaken Confidence scent, with notes of peach and fresh flower blossoms for a bright and refreshing sensorial experience. This launch also included a new addition to the Find Comfort Body & Hair Fragrance Mist, featuring the aforementioned scent that creates a full head-to-toe body treat for your daily routine.
Lumi Beauty
On the homegrown front, Lumi Beauty was ahead of the body care boom with its introduction of two new product categories through the Ethereal Gleam series, launching late last year. Breaking through into the market with a shower gel and body lotion combo is a classic move, and infusing it with skincare active ingredients makes it a truly Lumi product. Available in two scent options, which are Rustic Escape for those who prefer woody citrus notes, and Blushing Blooms for the floral fragrance fans.
Across the two scents are a carefully formulated blend of ingredients meant to protect and brighten the skin during shower (with niacinamide, aloe vera and a hydration complex), followed by a soothing, hydrating, and brightening lotion (using glutathione, tranexamic acid, kojic acid and a 7 plant-powered complex) to lock in moisture for 72 hours.
