Seasonal ready-to-wear doesn’t always apply for those of us living in a tropical climate like Malaysia. However, growing complaints about the heat and circulations of spring blossom trees on social media signals our own transition from the cooler monsoon months to warmer weather.
With the world opening up and businesses operating at almost-normal capacity, we’re looking forward to dressing up and going out (safely) again. Yes, it’s clichéd but no, we’re still not tired of florals for spring. Bring on a whole flower garden in vivid hues and all-over prints, we say, and designers have definitely delivered on that front. Rather than delicate, soft florals, this season is all about large, confident and bright blooms.
