The month-long annual culinary celebration, GastroMonth 2024, is making a return for its second year, offering gourmands and food connoisseurs alike yet another rare opportunity to experience the combined culinary brilliance of master chefs from MICHELIN Guide-recommended restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
Brought to you by FunNow Malaysia, GastroMonth 2024 is presenting a myriad of culinary experiences throughout June as a fresh and exciting alternative. For the entire month, diners will be able to delight in specially developed lunch tasting menus carefully curated by all 19 participating MICHELIN Star and MICHELIN Selected restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, ranging from 3-course sets priced from RM68 to 5-course meals starting at RM198 per person.

Additionally, GastroMonth 2024 is bringing forth a unique twist to this year’s iteration of the event, presenting an exclusive series of collaborative multi-course menus featuring over 20 MICHELIN Guide-recommended restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. These never-before-seen menus will feature varying dinner themes every weekend in June and will be held only for 10 nights, accommodating only a limited number of guests per event.
Amongst the noteworthy roster of chefs that diners can expect include Darren Teoh of Dewakan (two MICHELIN stars), Raymond Tham from Beta KL (one MICHELIN star), and Kim Hock Su from Restaurant au Jardin (one MICHELIN star), as well as numerous MICHELIN Selected chefs such as Lee Zhe Xi and Soh Yong Zhi from Eat and Cook, Nadodi’s Yavhin Siriwardhana, and Masashi Horiuchi from Entier French Dining.
Participation in this year’s GastroMonth is also made more meaningful as diners will be playing their part in giving back to the community with every meal purchase. A portion of the GastroMonth proceeds will be donated to local organisations benefiting underprivileged children, including Fugee School, Yayasan Chow Kit, and Yong Ai Orphanage, to support their education and wellbeing.
