Highlights of the 6th edition of Revolution by Time Kulture include the Frederique Constant World Timer and Graham’s limited edition Chronofighter Vintage.
Malaysia’s premier contemporary watchmaking showcase Revolution by Time Kulture comes back for its sixth edition.
Presented by leading watch retailer Swiss Watch Gallery, this year’s affair features nine brands headlining the exhibition: Bell & Ross, Frederique Constant, Graham, Longines, Maurice Lacroix, Oris, TAG Heuer, Tissor, and Tudor. This tribute to watchmaking and fine timepieces takes place from October 8 – 18, 2020 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
While 2020 has seen some unprecedented changes and challenges, Revolution by Time Kulture echoes the sentiment of “the show must go on”.
“Everything this year has been pushed into the digital realm, however with an emotional product like watches, which is not just something that tells time, but something that connects people, a memory, it is nice to have this still presented in a time-honoured manner,” said Ashvin Valiram, executive director of Valiram.
This year’s setting is inspired by the digital era that we’re currently embracing now more than ever. It takes futuristic elements and digitised graphics to realise a futuristic, edgy, and modern metropolis in the heart of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The neon booths and masthead make a perfect synergy of old and new, from the classic Swiss timepiece hands within the ‘M’ alphabet and the hexagonal watch face in the centre, to the neon motion lines surrounding it to convey the idea of time travel.
Visitors will get to experience a special preview to timepieces such as the highly-anticipated Frederique Constant World Timer and Graham’s limited edition Chronofighter Vintage, with the latter seeing 100 units in production. Those visiting the Oris booth can greet the Oris Bear, one of four that represent the four worlds of Oris watches – Culture, Aviation, Diving, and Motorsport.
In addition to the already exciting exhibition, brand partner BMW Malaysia will also be unveiling an all-new, much-awaited vehicle at Time Kulture.
