As the world’s attention turns to Paris for the 2024 Summer Paralympics with the Olympic Games over, Malaysia proudly sends a team of 30 athletes, determined to make their mark on the global stage. This is also Malaysia’s biggest contingent to date, and the participation showcases our resilience, skill, and national pride.
Malaysia’s journey to the 2024 Paralympics is steeped in a rich history of Paralympic achievements, dating back to its first participation in 1972. Over the decades, the nation has produced world-class athletes who have consistently pushed the boundaries of their respective sports. In Paris, this tradition continues with a diverse team competing in eight categories: archery, athletics, badminton, boccia, cycling, powerlifting, swimming, and wheelchair tennis.

Archery
Malaysia entered three archers into the games by virtue of their results at the 2024 World Qualification Tournament in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
