Jennie Kim from the South Korean girl group, Blackpink, has been close to Simon Porte Jacquemus for some time now. She was spotted attending his picturesque runway shows and wearing his pieces in magazine spreads and in real life. But there’s not much that screams “bestfriends” than her being in the official Jacquemus campaign.
Shot by Daniel Arnold, the newest Guirlande campaign sees Jennie channeling both the brand’s easygoing energy and the festively cosy nature of the Christmas-ready collection. Nestled in a welcoming ambiance surrounded by her furry friends, the star is captured in moments of relaxation, holding Jacquemus’ silver scroll-style clutch bag in a warmly lit room.
Jennie is then joined by a dachshund to show off a beige shearling style top and skirt, worn with square-toe knee-high boots finished with shearling trim. In one of the campaign photos, she and her pup companion are wearing matching silver ballet flats; in another, there’s even a playful image where she gets the help of a golden retriever to dry her hair. She dons red tights with a silver skirt and a dark green La Maille Jacquemus sweater.
The Guirlande collection includes pieces in classic holiday colours of deep green, gold and bright red, but also silver accessories that resemble tinsel. Think sparkles, satins, wool and the best sweater set one could ever dream of. There are also hats, scarves and iconic bag styles like Bambino and Chiquito reimagined for the gifting season. A collection that screams holiday elegance.
