And the winner is… Exclusive Pete! With Maison Martell’s firm belief in enabling cultural architects (such as DJs and other musical artists), this Talent Quest was developed to elevate local talents to the grand stage. Exclusive Pete had wowed the 4 judges, displaying his talents and living up to Martell’s motto to ‘Soar Beyond the Expected’.
With his unique taste and passion for hip-hop and R&B music, this young rising prodigy’s skill was propelled by his strong ambitions and hard work.
As Exclusive Pete nabbed first place, he got the chance to perform at the Martell Noblige Swift Festival (Martell Noblige’s biggest party of the year) as well as receive prizes worth over RM30,000. Prizes included Pioneer DJ products, 3 bottles of Martell Noblige, a variety of Martell merchandise and a RM10,000 cash prize. He will also get to perform at 2 future Martell events.
For Exclusive Pete’s lofty goals, however, seizing a spot on the Rolling Loud roster is high on his list. He aims to make it to the largest hip-hop festival in the world as he consistently raises the bar as a DJ.
Coming in 2nd place is Suicide J, who impressively began her DJ journey and dreams only in 2020. Despite only being in the scene for a couple of years, she has quickly risen in popularity over the years with her magnetic DJ performances. She’s always ready to get the party started, with her penchant for EDM – specifically techno, house, trap and dubstep.
Despite coming in 3rd place, Silent comes with the skill to blend multiple music genres. Known for combining fast and frantic electro with a dose of trap and sustaining the vibe, it is the smoothness of his precision which sets him apart. He credits this to his early classical music education and his quiet (hence the name!) determination to get himself in the rising arena of the local clubbing circuit.
