Who is left dead, dusted or very much alive?
Last week, Marvel Cinematic Universe released the trailer for the Avengers: Endgame online, and the internet has been abuzz since with theories and speculation.
After many of the Avengers and the world were left dusted since the universe-altering finger snap by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, we are recounting who is dead, dusted or very much alive for Avengers: Endgame.
The latest trailer recaps some of the battles the Avengers have endured and the losses they suffered. But, what makes them, them, is that they persevere. They continue to fight.

It is clear that they are not accepting the damage Thanos caused in his quest to eliminate half of life in the universe, they want to undo what has been done. How we don’t know, but it probably has something to do with new suits and the Quantum Realm.
So in a quick roundup, here is the list of who was dead, dusted or alive the last time we saw them. It is yet to be seen if some of these characters will be resurrected, or will make it to the end of the movie.
Captain America
In Infinity War: Alive! Captain America also known as Steve Rogers survived the finger snap. But will he make it to the end of Endgame?
Iron Man
In Infinity War: Alive but Tony Stark was stuck in space on Titan with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Thor
In Infinity War: Alive! Thor almost killed Thanos but was a split-second too late before the snap happened.
Ant-Man
In Infinity War: He did not make an appearance. But look out for him in Endgame, there have been some strong hints that he will be making an appearance.
Black Panther
In Infinity War: Dusted. Black Panther was helping Okoye up, leading most to believe that he had survived. He disintegrated in the last second.
Black Widow
In Infinity War: Alive! And in the trailer, she is back with her buddy Hawkeye. We are anticipating more action from the duo.
Hawkeye
In Infinity War: MIA. The trailer confirms he is part of Endgame but he looks like he has suffered a tremendous loss.
Bucky Barnes
In Infinity War: Dusted, he was vaporised from Thanos’s finger snap.
Captain Marvel
In Infinity War: She was not in Infinity War, but her logo appeared in the movie’s post-credits scene as Nick Fury disintegrated while trying to reach her.
Nick Fury
In Infinity War: Dusted. But only after sending a message to Captain Marvel.
Doctor Strange
In Infinity War: Dusted. He was in space on the Titan with Tony and Guardians of the Galaxy when the finger snap happened, disintegrating him.
Falcon
In Infinity War: Dusted. He was in Wakanda and was vaporised by Thanos’s snap.
The Guardians of the Galaxy
In Infinity War: Rocket the Raccoon — alive. Groot — dusted. Drax — dusted. Star-Lord — dusted. Mantis— dusted. Gamora — was killed by Thanos for the Soul Stone. Nebula — alive.
The Hulk
In Infinity War: Alive! The Hulk or should we say Bruce Banner survived the finger snap, considering Hulk did not come out.
Loki
In Infinity War: Dead. Thanos killed Loki on the Asgardian rescue ship after an assassination attempt.
Scarlet Witch
In Infinity War: Dusted. It was heart-breaking to see her disintegrate as she was still mourning Vision.
Vision
In Infinity War: Dead. Double death. First, Scarlet Witch killed him to destroy the Infinity Stone that was melded with him. But Thanos had the Time stone to reverse that, only to take the Infinity Stone, killing Vision once more.
War Machine
In Infinity War: Alive. War Machine survived the snap.
We expect to be able to catch the movie end of April. In a tweet by cinema chain GSC, the fourth and final chapter of the Avengers cinematic saga in Avengers: Endgame is set to premiere on April 24. TGV cinema has not confirmed any dates yet, but has said that early tickets will be up for pre-booking.
