Bell & Ross Horo series will welcome two bad-ass new additions at Baselworld – BR03-94 Horolum and BR03-92 Horoblack. Here’s what they look like.
Instantly-recognisable French horologer Bell & Ross is coming to Baselworld with not one, but two novelties in the Horo line: BR03-94 Horolum and BR03-92 Horoblack.
This pair comes after the BR03-92 Horolum, ‘Horo’ being an ode to the watchmaker’s core concept. Boxes and dials are a decidedly steampunk-elegant, matte micro-blasted steel, the sandwich dial being easy to read.
Superluminova is pretty to look at (and likely a hit at parties), but it’s application on the BR03-94 Horolum also serves to optimise readability all day and night. You’ll find evidence of its aviation DNA in the dial’s intense green hue, which is the colour of landing strips illuminating tracks in the dark.
Only 500 pieces of the limited-edition BR03-94 Horolum are available at RM24,700 each.
On the other hand we have the BR03-92 Horoblack, a three-handed piece rocking a clean, bare aesthetic. Its simple dial is clearly indicated, matching the finish of the box it lays upon.
This model sports an all-black strap of rubber and ultra-resistant synthetic fabric. Only 999 pieces of the BR03-92 Horoblack are available at RM14,400 each.
Both auto-mechanical watches are water-resistant for up to 100 metres. Bearing the stamp of industrial design, their minimalist design and colour codes exude an identity that is as pure as it is bad-ass.
