An illuminating presentation of the Dior Cruise 2023 collection is currently on show at The Gardens Mall. The pop-up store is an encapsulation of the collection featuring a curated display of ready-to-wear pieces and accessories.
Inspired by the exuberant cultural heritage of Spain, Dior Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri weaves a body of work emphasising the many facets of femininity for the Dior Cruise 2023 collection: think Flamenco-inspired pieces, intricate hand-woven embroideries and the house’s distinctive bar jackets that take on a new interpretation in sumptuous black velvet with gold thread embroideries.
Highlighting Andalusian tradition, the accessories on show include updated reiterations of the Dior Saddle Bag, the Lady Dior, Lady D-Joy and the ever-popular Dior Book Tote, each piece reflecting the house’s collaboration with artisans from the Southern Spain region.
The facade of the pop-up store reflects the mood of the holiday season. A giant Dior star centrepiece draws visitors to the structure. Inside, visitors are transported to the world of Dior with ornate decorations of delicate flower sketches, glowing lamps and Spanish-inspired floor tiles with the house’s signature lucky star motif.
The Dior Cruise 2023 pop-up is available from 22nd November to 2nd January 2023 at The Gardens Mall and is open to the public daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
