When it came to jewellery, the Tony Awards 2025 red carpet was a lesson in minimalism, with most attendees choosing to pair their outfits (which is where most decided to play with, as there were many colourful and creative sartorial choices made) with simple pieces or well-thought-out sparkling sets.
Of course, being a celebration of theatre, there were some statement pieces that stole attention with sheer size and sparkle (and yes, we’re talking about Anna Alimani’s diamond cross bib collar necklace).
Here’s a round-up of some of the jewellery and watches that caught our eyes from the Tony Awards red carpet.
Anna Alimani
Model Anna Alimani brought out a bib collar necklace to pair with her form-fitting lace dress, truly embodying the theatrics of the night.
Ariana Debose
This Broadway and Hollywood starlet paired her silky slip dress with a string of pearls punctuated by diamonds that snaked around her neckline and down her back, from Stephen Russell Jewelry.
Bee Carrozzini and Anna Wintour
The stalwart icon of the fashion world chose a yellow-stone necklace to complement the yellow flowers on her dress, while daughter Bee Carrozzini chose to complement her lace dress with layered chandelier earrings.
Celia Keenan-Bolger
Celia Keenan-Bolger took to the red carpet in a stunning green dress, and paired it with an equally stunning green prasiolites necklace from Mellerio’s Pierreries high jewellery collection.
Christopher Gattelli
A gemstone bowtie, and multiple gem-studded brooches? Tony-winning theatre director Christopher Gattelli made sure to bring the sparkle with his look – shiny purple suit lapels included.
Cynthia Erivo
As Tony Awards host, Cynthia Erivo brought many sequin-covered looks to the stage, but her red carpet Schiaparelli number paired with chunky FOPE jewels stole the show right off the bat.
Gabriel Ebert
Wearing one of the few pendant necklaces on a man that we saw last night, actor and singer Gabriel Ebert made sure he was dressed to the nines.
Jordan Roth
You can always trust Jordan Roth to bring fashion to any red carpet, and this time wasn’t any less magical. He paired a historical archival Alexander McQueen look with vintage necklace and a matching custom bracelet by Philippe Kern – overall a stunning look.
Kara Young
Stacked and layered was the move for Kara Young, with rows of bracelets adding a fun twist to her structured outfit.
LaChanze
Another proponent of layers in her look, LaChanze stacked her chunky bracelets high, and paired with her flapper-style dress made for a look that was truly energetic.
Nicole Scherzinger
Even before taking home a win with her first Tony Award, Nicole Scherzinger won best dressed look on the red carpet, pairing her red custom Rodarte gown with more than 50 carats of diamonds from Kwiat Diamonds, including the eye-catching drop pendant necklace that adorned her décolleté.
Sarah Snook
Before she walked away with a Tony award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Play for her work in The Picture of Dorian Grey, Sarah Snook was a vision in cream, with equally bright gem-studded earrings and rings accompanying the look.
Sarah Paulson
Sarah Paulson paired her two-tone black-and-gold dress with Buccellati jewels, with her statement drop earrings stealing my attention.
Sora Lee
Creative agency CEO Sora Lee stepped on to the red carpet in a very cutesy black sequined dress, but it was her coquettish Swarovski jewels that was the cherry on top to complete her red carpet look.
