The collection features four intricately designed couture wedding dresses inspired by the brand’s most iconic hotels and resorts destinations – New York, Punta Mita, Dubai and Mumbai.

In conjunction with the debut of the Weddings Redefined experience happening from 1^st to 18^th November, The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur presents an inaugural showcase of The St Regis Bridal Capsule Collection by Marchesa.

The collection features four intricately designed couture wedding dresses inspired by the brand’s most iconic hotels and resorts destinations – New York, Punta Mita, Dubai and Mumbai. Created by the designer herself in 2015, the dresses have since made appearances at exclusive St. Regis wedding experiences around the world, making its first ever stop in Malaysia.

Here’s a first look at the individual designs and inspirations.

New York: True to the iconic architecture of the St. Regis in New York – the brand’s first hotel, this gown features a timeless, structural design highlighted by 3D threadwork embroidery with crystalline duchess satin.

Mumbai: Inspired by the radiant culture surrounding The St. Regis Mumbai, this design takes cue from customary Indian beading, featuring specially engineered reembroidered lace bodice with crystal and pearl embroidery. The pleated tulle skirt overlay adds a contemporary twist to the traditional techniques underlining the gown.

Punta Mita: One for the beach wedding, this gown’s soft 3D lace floral and threadwork embroidery and graceful silhouettes fittingly reflect the scenic white sand beaches of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico.

Dubai: Like the dazzling city lights that catch the eye from The St. Regis Dubai at night, this gown grabs anyone’s attention with its elaborate clear crystal and pearl beading and slim top silhouette unravelling into a silk duchess satin fishtail skirt at the bottom.

The collection is on display at The Gallery, The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur throughout the Weddings Redefined month, which ends on 18^th November. Couples with confirmed weddings during this period will be in the running for the Grand Prize of two nights stay in a John Jacob Astor Suite with a 4-hour pre-wedding photography and videography experience.
