Paying homage to their roots, the exclusive four hands menu at The Brasserie will feature five courses that highlight their native ingredients.
Following a colourful culinary calendar in 2018, and more recently, Chef Sergio Mezza’s visit to kick off 2019, The St Regis KL is proud to roll out the next chapter in its Guest Star Chef Series with a trip to Japan.
Cue the Otawa brothers: Chef Hajime Otowa of Otowa Restaurant and Chef So Otowa of one Michelin starred “Ciel et Sol” who will take guests on a gastronomic journey through Japan from 28th to 30th March.
The two brothers had been exposed to their father, Chef Kazunori Otowa’s restaurant in their teenage years. Inspired by their old man, the second-generation chefs have since followed in his footsteps to hone their skills in the art of French cuisine while incorporating fresh ingredients from various regions of Japan.
Paying homage to their roots, the exclusive four hands menu at The Brasserie will feature five courses that highlight their native ingredients, namely Trout Chaudfroid with Seasonal Vegetables, Date Chicken Mousse with Foie Gras and Madeira Sauce, Amadai Crustian with Seaweed Sauce, Wagyu with Lyonnaise and Strawberry Oeuf a La Naige.
The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur’s Guest Star Chef Series dinner with Chef Hajime and So Otowa is priced at MYR480+ per person or MYR680+ per person with alcohol pairing. For more information follow @stregiskl on Instagram and Facebook, call +603 2727 6666 or email thebrasserie@stregiskl.com.
