Malaysian theatre maker, role player, and creative force, Shafeeq Shajahan and his award-winning theatre company, Liver and Lung is set to introduce the art of Asia’s one-man cabaret to the vibrant city of London.
Titled “Satyam Shivam Sundaram,” the show will serve as a representation which will carry his unique multicultural background and the influence of a renowned Bollywood film from 1978 to create an unforgettable experience at the prestigious Soho Theatre.

This poignant show will also feature the enchanting musicality of Vasilis Konstantinides, a Cypriot composer and collaborator of Liver & Lung – seamlessly blend the musical traditions of Malaysia, Bollywood, and the Mediterranean, creating a vibrant celebration of diverse artistic genres and cultural influences.
The week-long cabaret show, scheduled from February 10th to February 17th, 2024, draws inspiration from Syafiq’s diverse background and combines the sultry effects of Zeenat Aman and other Bollywood actors.
According to the official announcement, audiences can anticipate an immersive experience which will delve into Syafiq’s transformation journey. This performance serves as a tribute to his point-of-view and the deep bond he shares with his mother.
The show also stars Badrika Baluch and Nabilah Hamid, Malaysian actresses now residing in London who have worked with Liver & Lung before.
