True to the marque’s prestige, one can expect the accoutrement to pay the same attention to design, detail and craftmanship as expected of a Rolls-Royce car.
Rolls-Royce has just commemorated its 115th anniversary this year and now it wants you to join in the celebrations. The British marque recently rolled out (no pun intended) a new Champagne Chest made for the grandest of occasions, whether that be on a superyacht or on the pool deck of a private residence. Champagne is, after all, one of the most popular celebratory drinks throughout the globe.
True to the marque’s prestige, one can expect the accoutrement to pay the same attention to design, detail and craftmanship as expected of a Rolls-Royce car. Yes, drinking champagne may be light-hearted business, but even then the marque never demands anything short of perfection.
The chasis of the chest is made of machined aluminium and carbon fibre, wrapped in Natural Grain black leather and Tudor Oak Wood – all of which are materials found in the marque’s vehicles. Embroidered subtly on the sides is the Spirit of Ecstasy logo for a touch of panache.
At the press of a button, the chest opens to reveal four hand-blown crystal champagne flutes set to resemble a V12 engine in the illuminated central bay. Each flute features an aluminium base emblazoned with the double R monogram.
Meanwhile, the lid metamorphoses into a serving tray with a laser-cut stainless steel inlay. The sides of the chest deploy to reveal two hammocks adorned with ‘Hostpur Red’ Rolls-Royce leather, cradling your choice of champagne, caviar or canapés.
