Crafted in the heart of German craftsmanship in Köln, the case itself echoes the timeless elegance of RIMOWA’s iconic luggage. Its minimalist design and gentle curves reflect the brand’s heritage, while the ergonomic handle ensures carrying comfort. An integrated combination lock further keeps your precious pieces secure while on the go.
The interior boasts a sophisticated black leather lining emblazoned with RIMOWA’s logo and monogram. Upon opening, there’s a special chessboard in leather-wrapped wood with a precious aluminum frame. The board is also sandwiched within premium leather straps for extra security.
On the bottom, suede-like microfibre and foam compartments cradle the bespoke aluminium chess pieces. Each of the 32 chess pieces, from the humble pawn to the majestic king, are also laser-etched with the brand’s signature monogram lasered on their bases.
