The collection is highlighted by ruffle, lace and cut-out details as well as fur and feather accents – from the clothes right down to the shoes, bags and even accessories.
Former New-York based fashion brand Proenza Schouler officially made its debut in Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week on Sunday with their Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear collection.
Designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough left the teeming New York runways with hope for greater international exposure in the glorious City of Lights, joining other elite American labels including Rodarte and Monique Lhuillier.
Featuring predominantly monochrome pieces with the occasional red, pastel pinks and purples and floral prints, the collection is highlighted by ruffle, lace and cut-out details as well as fur and feather accents – from the clothes right down to the shoes, bags and even accessories.
Corset tops, coats and heavily adorned dresses made frequent appearances, along with pointy-toe flats and chunky bangles, building up to a unique melange of chic and sophisticated appeal.
