Fans of tea and scones, listen up: The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is serving up something fresh on its silver trays.
This reimagined classic afternoon tea debuts the culinary vision of its latest Chef de Patisserie, Hassan Mohammed. He takes pride in using only the best ingredients, whether its Valrhona chocolate, French cheese, or Scottish salmon.
A selection of savoury canapes kicks off this mid-day meal. Enjoy Alaskan king crab aioli, smoked salmon in cream cheese cone, black truffle egg mayo sandwiches, and more refillable treats with your tea of choice.
From the sweet tier, expect quality interpretations of classic desserts that trade decadence for a light, pleasant flavours. This includes strawberry cheesecake, caramelized pecan short crust, Madagascar vanilla choux, and mixed berries trifle.
Plain and raisin scones with delicious, home-made strawberry jam and traditional English clotted cream complete the experience.
The daily Afternoon Tea is a signature ritual across St. Regis hotels worldwide. It is a relevant interpretation of each country’s premium ingredients, accompanied by a range of exotic teas. You can choose from Grand Wedding, Jasmine Queen, English Breakfast, Silver Moon, Napoleon, and Alexandria brews at St. Regis KL’s Drawing Room.
The Drawing Room is decorated in refined elegance, from the glistening five-tier crystal chandelier above to the grand, central horse sculpture by Columbian artist Fernando Botero.
