LG’s revolutionary QNED MiniLED TV lineup has arrived in Malaysia, boasting the ultimate, immersive viewing experience with screens that range from 75 inches to 86 inches.
Thanks to its Quantum Dot NanoCell colour and MiniLED backlight technologies, visuals on the QNED MiniLED will have deeper blacks, more authentic colour reproduction, greater brightness and more contrast.
To keep up with the larger-than-life screens, the QNED Mini LED TV uses smaller LED backlight, with approximately 30,000 mini LEDs to bring clearer images. At the same time, the 2,500 unique dimming zones provide precise backlight control and an ultra-high contrast ratio to offer more in-depth, accurate-to-life colours.
“As we spend more time indoors, TV has become more than just a tool of entertainment; it bonds families together to connect and unwind as well as create lifelong memories,” said Kim Kyutae, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia.
“The LG QNED MiniLED TV provides that with our enhanced technology, leveraging LG’s unique colour reproduction technology and mini LED backlighting to achieve the pinnacle of LCD picture quality.”
Movie night gets an upgrade
Bringing cinematic performance to new heights, the new models feature Dolby Vision™ IQ & Dolby Atmos®, which adjusts picture settings based on the genre of content and ambient surroundings, as well as offer multi-dimensional surround sound for a deeply immersive movie-watching session.
With FILMMAKER MODE™, films can be seen as the director intended as it turns off motion smoothing without losing the aspect ratios, colours, and frame rates of its original form.
Powered by the α (Alpha) 9 Gen4 AI Processor 8K, the QNED MiniLED can utilise deep-learning algorithms to recognise, analyse and optimise content. For instance, AI Picture Pro removes visual noise and can improve picture quality by instinctively analysing the type of scene through the Scene Detection feature. Similarly, AI Sound Pro takes audio data points and identifies voices, effects and frequencies to optimise sound defending on genre.
Finally, AI 8K Upscaling translates the source of content to over 33 million pixels, turning non-8K into 8K resolution.
Gratifying gaming
Gamers will enjoy the 120Hz refresh rate, which allows for incredibly fast moving visuals while the ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) allow higher resolutions and synchronized graphics, enhancing the gaming experiences as well as giving the player a competitive leg up. LG’s Game Optimiser also lets gamers adjust picture settings to fit each genre and format, from first person shooter to role-playing games.
Additionally, with LG’s ThinQ AI, virtual smart assistant provides personalised content suggestions, easy access to favourite programmes and centralised control of connected devices through an enhanced home dashboard and natural voice recognition.
The LG 86 inch 8K Smart QNED MiniLED TV with AI ThinQ is priced at RM49,999, while the 75 inch 4K Smart QNED MiniLED TV with AI ThinQ is priced at RM19,999.
