It’s bad enough that we get hit with the occasional, nay, frequent cravings for Japanese food. And now with the implementation of MCO 3.0, the pangs have intensified, and we have another long wait to go until we’re able to get our omakase fix. For the time being, deliveries and takeaways are the way to go when these cravings hit.
If you’re currently in that position right now and are in need of tucking into a scrumptious lunch bowl for lunch or a nigiri feast for dinner, check out these Japanese restaurants that are available for deliveries and takeaways.
Chipta 11a
Here’s a place where you can get a more contemporary take on your favourite Japanese dishes. Chipta 11a serves up their own special maki rolls as part of their takeaway menu, and we’re eyeing the Tokusen Futomaki, which is made with chutoro, akami, shima aji, winter melon, green chili paste, and cucumber. For something that really strays away from the traditional, there’s the Arancini filled with prawn bisque, hamachi budu, and anago. You’ll also want to keep an eye out for their “no-name mystery bowl”, if you’re feeling adventurous!
Takeaways are available from 12pm – 7pm, on Tuesday – Sunday. Orders can be made via Instagram DM or WhatsApp at 011 2899 6296.
