The new Hublot Classic Fusion AeroFusion Chronograph Ibiza says it’s party time.
Hublot unveiled the Hublot Classic Fusion AeroFusion Chronograph Ibiza at Ushuaïa Tower one fine Friday, much to the delight of fans that have been keeping up with its growing legacy.
With a power reserve of 42 hours, this latest release is presented in a limited edition of 50 timepieces only – each piece marked with its individual number and trademark ‘Hublot loves Ibiza’ engraved at the bottom of its sapphire crystal case.
The Ibiza Special Edition features Hublot’s Calibre HUB1155 automatic chronograph movement, paired with a black rubber and blue alligator skin strap with blue stitching. It is a special edition 45mm that echoes the sights and sounds of Mediterranean sky and sea.
This includes the sky-blue skeletonised dial and blue ceramic case and bezel, all coming together to create a timepiece that pops with colour and style. At the seconds counter at 3 o’clock, you’ll find a quiet, cheeky ode to island hippies in the form of the famous peace symbol, representing their presence in Ibiza since the 1960s that has grown to become an emblem of the island.
Ibiza needs no introduction to those among us who just can’t get enough summer partying on amazing beaches. The island’s bold, innovative spirit mirrors Hublot’s enduring search for the new while staying true to its origins and tradition, making a perfect setting for the debut of this brilliant blue timepiece.
Hublot has been impressing us since Baselworld, so we’re keeping an eye on this contemporary Swiss watchmaker – as should you.
