Alila Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur officially celebrated its launch last September, making the first Alila Hotels & Resorts property in the country.
Set in the topmost floors of a mixed-use development known as The Establishment, Alila Bangsar boasts an urban hideaway combining innovative lifestyle concepts with contemporary interior design.
The launch party was graced by the presence of Mark Edleson, President of Alila Hotels & Resorts and his wife, Mary Jane Foster, as well as distinguished names from various local industries. Among those spotted in the crowd were Jesrina Arshad, Sarah Lian, Timothy Tiah, Fyza Kadir and Daniel Peita Graham.
To start off the evening, guests were treated to a welcome cocktail at the hotel’s lobby on the 41st floor. The hotel’s range of F&B offerings, namely Botanica + Co, Entier and Pacific Standard Bar welcomed guests for a taste; while a number of the 143 guestrooms, including the 252 sqm Alila Suite, were open for viewing.
An exclusive Chardonnay Laurent Robert Cuvee Prestige champagne tasting highlighted the party, courtesy of winemaker Laurent Robert. Following the excitement, guests were invited to join a calming soundbath session led by Lou and Devi, co-founders of Alchemie, a boutique sound healing studio in Bangsar. This immersive practice will be added to a curated menu of Alila Experiences, the brand’s signature concept offering an intimate connection to each of its destinations.
