The Ferrari Roma will have a 620-horsepower, 3.85-litre eight cylinder mid-front mounted engine, allowing it to go from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds.
The Ferrari Roma is the newest mid-front-engined vehicle released by the Prancing Horse, and it features a turbo-charged V8 engine, with a sleek and timeless design.
The new Roma will be a 2+ coupé which means it has two small rear seats. The car will have a 620-horsepower, 3.85-litre eight cylinder mid-front mounted engine, allowing it to go from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds.
The vehicle was revealed during a dedicated client event held in Italy’s capital.
It will also feature an 8-speed DCT gearbox that was first introduced on the SF90 Stradale, Ferrari’s first hybrid car.
“With its distinctive flair and style, the car is a contemporary representation of the carefree, pleasurable way of life that characterised Rome in the 1950s and ‘60s,” Ferrari said.
According to a report by Reuters, Ferrari has also promised to release special edition hybrid cars to be released on a slow roll-out in the coming years between 2019 and 2022.
Ferrari also recently announced a collaboration with Girogio Armani on an apparel line as part of its brand diversification strategy, as well as plans to ramp up its entertainment and luxury product offerings for its clients.
