The Italian-inspired afternoon tea offerings bring a melange of flavours in curated classics like fluffy scones, baked artisanal cakes and selections of sandwiches, a testament to the culinary finesse of EQ’s Executive Chef Federico Michieletto.
Tuck into an array of savoury bites such as the croque monsieur chicken loaf with cheese pierini, organic egg finger sandwich, smoked duck with forest mushroom sandwich, and smoked salmon bagel with sour cream, and indulge your sweet tooth with treats like the strawberry bouquet, raspberry vanilla macaron, hazelnut praline, earl grey orange chocolate tart, berries lime pistachio opera, and exotic mango shortcake.
To accompany the delectable delights, guests at the Bottega Lounge are given the choice of decadent tea flavours by JING from robust Earl Grey and Assam to soothing chamomile and mint. For an extra bubbly afternoon, opt for a glass of the exclusive Bottega Prosecco available on the menu.
An exceptional spread such as this deserves an equally heart-fluttering stand to serve it on, which is why EQ has collaborated with renowned Malaysian sculptor, Nizam Abdullah, to enhance the traditional afternoon tea stand with a whimsical butterfly twist. Each of the stands are hand-made and individually numbered, with a limited few available for diners purchase at a special price.
