Workout regimes are about to get a whole lot more chic, with a new collaboration between Dior and high-end sports equipment specialist Technogym in the works.
The Dior and Technogym limited edition line of exercise products has been announced as part of Dior Vibe, a fitness line described as combining sportswear with elegance. The new line of equipment is produced in the Technogym Village in Italy, and will mark the first time the sports technology brand has teamed up with a luxury house.
For this joint venture, Dior has reinterpreted the Technogym’s connected treadmill, multifunctional weight bench and gym ball, dressing the equipment in clean black and white hues with the added embellishments of a Dior star, the Christian Dior name, and the House emblem.
The line of fitness gear was born out of close dialogue between the creative team at Dior and the Technogym Research and Innovation centre, seeking to design products that bring out the best of the two brands’ shared values, namely attention to detail and technical excellence.
Training with style
The unique creations from this line showcase the mutual commitment of both brands towards promoting active and healthy lifestyles by uniting fashion and physical exercise.
The revamped compact treadmill can connect to tablets using the MYRUN console, which provides a variety of on-demand running and walking programs. The Technogym Bench allows users to maximise their workouts in a small space, coming with a series of dumbbells, elastics and knuckles. Finally, the gym ball in a new luxe design helps users stay active even while sitting, and can be used in a number of exercises to improve flexibility, toning and balance.
“This shared goal of excellence gives life to a limited series of innovative Technogym products interpreted with the Maison Dior’s unique allure,” Technogym founder and Wellness Designer Nerio Alessandri commented in a statement. “Created to inspire the concept of wellness with new generations, it also offers people the opportunity to live a unique and irresistible experience.”
Available upon request, the collection will be launched in January 2022 in limited countries.
