Portofino’s enchanting Hotel Splendido, a Belmond hotel, has partnered with Dior to debut a stunning new pop-up spa that combines wellness with the fashion house’s signature art of beauty.
Known for its notable guests from Winston Churchill to Madonna, the Splendido is a former 16th-century hillside monastery boasting panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the Ligurian Coast.
The Jardin des Rêves spa, located within the lush Splendido gardens overlooking the Italian Riviera, offers an exclusive Dior wellness experience with two large gazebos bearing the iconic Dior pattern Toile de Jouy, reinterpreted by Maria Grazia Chiuri in a luxurious foliage green.
Additionally, Dior has also created a second pop-up space at the Bagni Fiore beach in Paraggi, featuring a transformed Langosteria terrace with net curtains, beach mattresses and sun loungers in the same nature green Dior Toile de Jouy.
A selection of face and body treatments, including the new Dior Bronze Signature Massage, will be available at both pop-ups. To mark the occasion, Dior has created a limited edition of its beloved Escale à Portofino perfume that echoes the green Toile de Jouy pattern of the pop-up spas.
The eau de toilette is infused with essences that highlight the best of Mediterranean summer, such as Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian petit-grain, Italian citron, bitter almond and orange blossom from Cyprus. Named the Splendido Edition, the fragrance will be available in select Dior boutiques in France and Italy, and on dior.com
The Jardin des Rêves pop-up spa will be open until 30th September 2022. To make a reservation, contact +39 0185 267 801 or email wellnesscentre.spl@belmond.com
