During the MCO, two things are certain: we really miss attending exciting events and performances, and music is what connects us all in staying sane. And thanks to Coach and Def Jam SEA, we’ll be able to get a taste of normalcy to uplift our spirits.
Come Thursday, 24 June 2021, the American luxury fashion house and record label will introduce the former’s first virtual concert held in Southeast Asia. The concert is scheduled to air simultaneously in four Southeast Asian countries, at 9PM (GMT +8 Malaysia and Singapore), and at 8PM (GMT +7 Thailand and Indonesia).
Who to expect
With a modern yet nostalgic approach to ‘80s inspired music, the Coach x Def Jam SEA virtual concert experience hopes to bridge communities, while helping emerging and upcoming artists of the next generation to thrive. The concert will feature thirteen artists across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia, including headliners Malaysian rapper Joe Flizzow; English-Tamil hip-hop artist Yung Raja; Amerian-Thai rapper DABOYWAY; and Indonesian rapper and singer Rayi Putra. The line-up also features award-winning singer-songwriter and rapper SonaOne; female rapper SYA; and producer, songwriter, and rapper Yonnyboii.

The artists will be decked out in Coach’s Pre-Fall 2021 Collection for the virtual concert. Inspired by Coach Creative Director Stuart Vever’s free-spirited vision for the brand, the collection playfully combines the house’s heritage in craft with the design codes of American sportswear – resulting in new remixed classics with a sports-meets-vintage spirit befitting these Southeast Asian creatives.
How to score tickets
From now until 17 June 2021, customers will receive a link and password to the Coach x Def Jam SEA virtual concert experience with any purchase. They can shop from the comfort of their homes with the brand’s “Coach on Delivery” service, where they can contact store associates who will assist with purchases via the stores’ respective WhatsApp numbers found here.
