Food has long been a connector of cultures, one that feeds the body in its barest form, and fuels camaraderie on a higher social level. This season, we explore the role of food in our Asian culture in connecting people and forging friendships. We flew in Michelin starred chefs from Singapore and Bangkok to be part of our Malaysian eating cultures and share with them our dining scene – both street and fine – to exchange and learn how differently we eat and, more importantly, how much likeness we also share.
In this second episode, Cantaloupe, located on Level 23A of Tower B at The Troika, gets a visit from Chef Jeremy Gillon of 1 Michelin starred Restaurant JAG and Chef Paul Longworth of 1 Michelin starred Rhubarb Le Restaurant, both from Singapore.
Helmed by Chef Christian Bauer, Cantaloupe first broke into the scene in 2012 as one of the five establishments housed within the 24th floor of the Menara Binjai. Over the years, it has continued to be a steady favourite for date nights and special occasions for KL-ites.
How will Chef Chris’s brand of playful cuisine drawn from his experience and personal fancy appeal to the two Singaporean chefs?
We are giving one (1) couple a chance to dine at Cantaloupe and sample this season’s menu, paired with Martell cognac. To be in the running to win, just follow these simple steps:
