From divers and pilots, to professional athletes and extreme adventurers, Breitling has a long history of partnering with those who push themselves to the limit in high-adrenaline pursuits. And for its latest creation, the watchmaker continues to build upon this legacy by going the extra mile with the new Endurance Pro Ironman watch.
Produced in partnership with extreme racing series, the Ironman Triathlon, this “ultimate athleisure watch” is built to withstand the challenges of a rigorous workout, but still fashionable enough for everyday wear. This marks the second collaborative watch with Ironman since the first limited edition in 2019, and also serves as a successor of the 2020 Endurance Pro series.
Measuring at 44mm in diameter and 12.5mm thick, the Endurance Pro Ironman features an ultra-light Breitlight® case – a brand-exclusive robust material that’s 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than stainless steel. Highly resistant to scratches, traction, and corrosion, it also boasts non-magnetic, thermally stable, and hypoallergenic qualities to endure the most extreme lifestyles.
A red fumé dial is paired with a matching red rubber strap to give a trendy and striking look. The former brings the style of its predecessors, while setting itself apart with the commemorative Ironman logo that can be found within the running seconds 6 o’clock register. Prominent hour markers, a 4:30 date window, and an applied Breitling logo towards the 12 o’clock position adorns the dial. Two more subdials are featured on the top half of the dial – a 1/10th second chronograph readout on the right, and a 30-minute counter on the left.
In terms of power, the Breitling Endurance Pro Ironman are equipped with the in-house Thermocompensated SuperQuartz Caliber 82 movement, which is COSC-certified. It features up to 100m water resistance, with a battery life of up to 3 to 4 years.
The watch carries a price tag of RM14,880, and can be purchased online. More details can also be found on the Breitling official website.
