Breitling Avenger collection gets a complete redesign with sleek updates

Breitling, the de-facto pilot’s watch, has been making some big moves by revamping their collections. New releases are being unveiled all through the year, with modern flairs being added to these classic timepieces. From the sold-out Top Time editions to the Premier range, to their iconic Navitimer, and more recently, their Avenger collection, Breitling is not afraid to make a bold statement.

Of these, The Avenger collection, which made its debut in 2001, is seeing the biggest update with a complete top-to-bottom redesign. The performance watch has been outfitted with modern styling, tough titanium metals, and longer lasting power reserves. These watches are also equipped with Breitling’s Manufacture Caliber 01 movement, its highest-grade caliber with maximum accuracy and reliability.

The collection includes the Automatic 42, GMT 44, and the B01 Chronograph 44, with special ‘Night Mission’ options available. Changes were made to the case, dial and overall profile of these timepieces to fit with contemporary fashion. For Breitling fans, the revision to the classic wing logo with a much sleeker ‘B’ stencil might be an adjustment, but this change is taking place across the board for most of their 2023 to 2024 releases.

“Breitling has always been committed to our consumers and building on existing concepts to fit current market trends,” said Elvin Seah, Senior Regional Manager of Breitling South East Asia. “The Avenger collection carries this ethos, and is aimed at resonating with a broad spectrum of consumers,” he added.

Prices range upwards to MYR40,000 and is available for purchase at boutiques, retailers, and online in selected regions.
