You can now experience and even interact with the full scale version of Bentley’s EXP 100 GT with augmented reality (AR) technology.
English car manufacturer Bentley Motors has unveiled its latest concept car, the Bentley EXP 100 GT in augmented reality (AR), which allows users to experience and view the full scale of the vehicle through a virtual lens.
In conjunction with the celebration of its 100th year in 2019, the automaker released the concept car in July to celebrate its reimagined future of grand touring. Through the ‘Bentley 100 AR’ app, users are afforded an AR experience that allows them to view the full scale of this new luxury future car, even being able to take a look inside and to interact with the car’s specially curated interior.
The AR experience comes with a narration by John Paul Gregory and Brett Boydell – both members of the Bentley design team – who take users through the AR experience and explain how the Bentley EXP 100 GT is the future of grand tourers.
Here are three reasons you should experience Bentley’s latest EXP 100 GT in AR.
It has AI technology
The future car, first released earlier this year, combines the technology of artificial intelligence (AI) and even has the option of autonomous driving. This future car is also equipped with AI technology known as the Bentley Personal Assistant, with which users can curate their own Grand Tour experiences, which are customizable. The implementation of the AI technology is to reassert the car as a place for creating and experiencing the spectrum of emotions and creating an atmosphere of calm and control. And if the user gets tired of steering the wheel, let the EXP 100 GT do it for you, autonomously.
It has a sleek exterior and interior design
The sleekly sculpted inside cabin of the vehicle is luxuriously tactile, designed to have a harmonious environment in promotion of the complete well-being of its passengers. The all-electric motorcar is designed from the inside out and reimagined the Grand Tourer for the future of 2035. With its signature Bentley matrix grill adorning the front of the car, the roof and sides of this future car’s design effortlessly glides its way to meet its rear in a seamless motion. Reminiscent of Bentley’s historic Grand Tourers, the Bentley EXP GT 100 takes these hallmarks to the future.
It uses sustainable materials
Another great reason to appreciate the Bentley EXP 100 GT is that it is made with the awareness of the environment in mind. The car’s paint is made from recycled rice husks, while the plush interior seats are made from 100% organic leather-like textile, used from wine making. The vehicle’s carpets are made from British Farmed Wool and the interior surfaces are made from embroidered cotton. A car of the future has got to be sustainable, after all.
Bentley Kuala Lumpur is featuring the full virtual version of the new concept car in its full scale or through a smaller table top version at its showroom in Kuala Lumpur between 23rd to 31st October 2019.
