Back in May 2023, we announced that the Grammy Award Winner, Beyonce, would be launching her inaugural hair care line, although details were scarce at the time. Just recently, the singer-turned-beauty mogul finally shared additional information about her official hair care brand, Cécred.
Taking to her Instagram, the 42-year-old shared a video featuring her mother, Tina Knowles, at her old Headliners Hair Salon where Beyonce had her first job before achieving fame. The caption beautifully stated, “Hair is sacred,” aligning flawlessly with the brand’s name.
Following the news, Beyonce also confirmed that Cécred will partner with her charity organisation to launch a scholarship fund. “We are proud to announce the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, which will provide financial support to cosmetology students and professional hair stylists within the beauty industry.’’
The announcement was made on BeyGOOD’s Instagram. “An annual $500,000 will be given in scholarships and salon business grants across five markets; the schools were chosen for their large, diverse community of hair stylists in : Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and New Jersey.”
Even though there is no official launch date in Malaysia yet, Cécred is now available for purchase in America. The brand’s Foundation collection consists of Hydrating Shampoo, Clarifying Shampoo, Scalp Scrub, Hair Protein, Deep Conditioner, Hair Oil, and a Treatment Mask, with prices ranging from MYR 95 to MYR 119.
