Following in the footsteps of Fenty Beauty and Roblox, Polo by Ralph Lauren has announced the launch of its unique interactive metaverse. The interactive game, titled “Race to Greatness,” was created using Fortnite‘s Creative toolset and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) – and will be available for general purchases. 

The in-game architectural and design inspirations were heavily influenced from across the world of Ralph Lauren including previous collections, runway shows, Ralph Lauren Home Collection, and Ralph Lauren’s personal garage and homes.

The Polo Pony-shaped island, which will be Ralph Lauren’s first digital landscape designed exclusively for Fortnite, is offering three unique topographies, including Ralph’s Airplane Hangar, the Rocky Mountains, and Grand Forests. The island was rendered with UEFN in high fidelity with incredibly rich detail, all while staying true to gaming design aesthetics.

Ralph Lauren will also be launching a limited-edition collectible ‘Phygital’ Boot: The Polo x Fortnite P- Wing Boot, inspired by the digital version first launched in Fortnite on the Stadium Hero ‘92 Outfit. The midsole molded ‘fins’ on the boot are inspired by the Stadium Drifter Glider, also available in the Polo Stadium Collection in Fortnite. Players will be able to wear the physical boot while also wearing it in the game—bridging the gap between the digital and physical. 

Both, the ‘Race to Greatness by Polo Ralph Lauren’ experience and Phygital Boot will be available exclusively on RalphLauren.com starting August 3, 2023.
