Valentino is now making sure you can look your best in both the real and virtual worlds, as the Italian fashion house has partnered with Meta to bring designer looks to your digital avatars. With the likes of Gucci and Balenciaga launching their own metaverse divisions, the collaboration is another step in luxury brands launching into digital fashion, as Valentino looks to build its community beyond the physical world.
Drawing inspiration from its most recent collection, Valentino has designed six distinctive, fully branded looks. Among the pieces are creations from the brand’s Pink PP line. The selection features the Toile Iconographe, showcasing an all-over pattern of the brand’s unique logo, and a panther print presented in vibrant Pink PP on a flowing dress. Adding a final flourish to the digital outfits is the inclusion of the newly-released Valentino Garavani Rockstud ballerinas.
The initial drop of the Valentino pieces are translated into Meta’s avatar program and are now available at the Meta Avatars Store. Thanks to the program, users are able to dress their avatars in Valentino across all of Meta’s platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and VR experiences.
