The Thai media scene has been rising in recent years, and it’s unsurprising that more familiar faces from the Land of Smiles have been approached by renowned luxury fashion and beauty houses to become ambassadors and friends of their labels.
With a vice grip on the internet, beauty brands including Guerlain and Dior Beauty have tapped prominent Thai celebrities – from Bright Vachirawit to Mile Phakphum – to headline their campaigns and represent them on the international stage.
Ahead, we list down seven Thai names that have stolen the spotlight in the global beauty scene.
Lalisa Manobal for Celine Haute Perfumerie
Having made her debut runway appearance for Celine in 2021, the Thai singer and global megastar, Lalisa Manobal, or better known as Lisa, took her relationship with the French fashion house to the next level after being named as the global ambassador for the brand’s Haute Parfumerie collection. As its inaugural ambassador, the Blackpink rapper was also the first to star in the House’s first ever Celine Haute Parfumerie campaign.
Bright Vachirawit for Kiehl’s
Alongside his acting and singing pursuits, Bright Vachirawit was approached by the skincare brand, Kiehl’s, as the esteemed Friend of the House for Malaysia and Singapore in 2023. Jenny Chan, Brand General Manager of Kiehl’s MYSG, praised the Thai heartthrob for embodying the brand’s adventurous spirit, making him the perfect representative for their popular serums.
Mile Phakphum for Guerlain
Right after gaining widespread recognition for his role in KinnPorsche: The Series, the actor and musician has established a strong presence in the luxury scene including being named as the first Southeast Asian Friend of Guerlain. The partnership with the French beauty and fragrance brand was announced last year, further solidifying his career success.
Thanaerng for Dior Beauty
The rising Thai-Chinese actress and model, Thanaerng, was recently welcomed into the Dior Beauty family in January 2024. Throughout her appointment as the ambassador of the beauty brand, she has been seen starring in campaigns for them as well as attending many of their events.
Win Metawin for Prada Fragrance and Shiseido
Just like Bright, Win Metawin is known for his breakout roles in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers and 2gether: The Series. Since then, he has garnered multiple luxury brand deals under his belt including beauty brands like Prada Fragrance and Shiseido.
Davika Hoorne for Gucci Beauty
Over the past few years, Thai A-lister Davika Hoorne has been solidifying her alliance with Italian fashion house Gucci. In 2023, she was officially appointed as the brand ambassador for both Gucci and Gucci Beauty. She is also the first representative from Thailand to embody the brand’s image and that of its beauty universe.
Jeff Satur for philosophy
Apart from his musical and acting talents, Jeff Satur has been tapped by skincare brand philosophy as their first-ever friend of the brand in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. In 2023, the skincare brand held a launch event in Bangkok for its latest serum, where the Thai star took to the stage to perform his very own “bouncy skin” jingle and speak on his love for the brand.
