Eternyl Vinyl
As one of the earliest modern vinyl cafes in Malaysia to rise to popularity, Eternyl Vinyl’s record selection spans multiple genres, from chart-toppers such as Sabrina Carpenter to niche artists like Role Model and even original soundtracks like ‘Barbie’ and ‘Interstellar’. Eternyl Vinyl opened a second branch in Subang Jaya last November, adding a new spot for vinyl seekers to try besides Sea Park. With dim orange lighting and private listening pods, the cafe is the place to be for high-quality and uninterrupted music.

Listen HiFi
Set within a minimalist space in Chow Kit, Listen HiFi houses over 100 vinyl records to browse and play. Lose yourself in the music with a window-side seat overlooking the panoramic city view, with genres ranging from pop classics by Michael Jackson to post-hardcore rock anthems by Pierce the Veil. Better yet, the listening cafe regularly updates their catalogue (hello, You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love by Olivia Rodrigo!).

Monk
Monk is a modern jazz cafe that borrows its name from the legendary jazz pianist, Thelonious Monk. Decorated like a retro recording studio, Monk transports guests back in time with a curated jazz playlist for each 10-seater session. Visitors also rave about their desserts, especially their French Apple Cake, to indulge during your listening experience.

Vintage Kissa Audio Cafe
No laptop, minimal conversation, and a vintage 1950s speaker – Vintage Kissa has a reputation for taking music seriously. In a ‘Bring Your Own Vinyl’ session that takes place after 6pm, guests can spin their own records according to the weekly genre schedule. Surrounded by warm wooden furniture and vintage audio decorations, wind down your day by sharing your favourite music and connecting with fellow vinyl lovers.

The Groove Room
Amcorp Mall is no stranger to vintage collectibles. When Mohan founded The Groove Room in 2020, he made Amcorp Mall its home. The store is a labour of love built by a retired man’s devotion to music – with over 2,000 vinyl records and CDs on display, a gallery of framed albums, and a private listening room for you to enjoy music alone or with friends. Tune into their wide selection (including The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Prince) or bring your own records for a listening session.
