The Essential Energy collection is inspired by neuroscience featuring ReNeura Technology™, which enhances the skin’s ability to respond to senses.

Shiseido is finally bringing its advanced Essential Energy collection to Malaysia this April and we can’t wait to experience the innovation for ourselves. Specially formulated to boost the skin’s responsiveness to skincare, the Essential Energy collection features three moisturisers of different textures including a cream, gel and emulsion.

What’s so innovative about the collection, you ask? Here are 3 key factors to note.

The technology

The Essential Energy collection is inspired by neuroscience featuring ReNeura Technology™, which enhances the skin’s ability to respond to senses. Its Active Response Powder component is highly elastic and flexible, allowing the skin to perceive the motion of the hand during application. This “awakens” the skin to respond, especially skin that’s become insensitive to skincare due to aging.

The formula

It is formulated with Ashitaba, a plant charged with vital energy found in Japan’s Hachijo-jima Island, also called “tomorrow’s leaf” for its advanced healing properties. Full of vitamins and minerals, its extract is used to help reduce environmental damage to the skin. Additionally, it is made with Shiseido’s specially patented oil, which has been proven to blend well with water for better absorption by the skin.

The packaging

Even the packaging is designed with innovation in mind – featuring 64 unique shapes and graphic designs, every purchase offers a new visual and textile experience to awaken the senses. The aesthetics are made to evoke Japanese handcrafted tea bowls used in traditional ceremonies, which fit comfortably into your hands – yet differently each time.

The Essential Energy collection will be available at all Shiseido counters from April 2018 onwards.
