Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate

Van Cleef & Arpels continues the story of its fated lovers (seen previously in the Pont des Amoureux collection) in a brand new setting, starting a new chapter for the couple. The Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate is set in a guinguette, an open-air dance café typical of 19^th century Paris suburbs, where the couple share a kiss at noon and midnight every day, with a brand-new automaton movement created just for this piece.

A push of the button on the side of the case allows the wearer to animate the couple at any time, punctuated by the five planes of detailed grisaille enamel in the background. The hours and minutes are indicated by two stars, set in motion by a double retrograde system. A romantic homage to the passage of time and love in the streets of Paris, Van Cleef & Arpels creates another beautiful work of art to be worn on the wrist.

Bvlgari Serpenti Aeterna

The newest version of Bvlgari’s Serpenti Aeterna watch take its design to a new edge, stylising the maison’s iconic snake down to its most essential lines. The watch is Serpenti at its most minimal, doing away with the eyes and scales you’d typically see on a Serpenti piece, and turning it into a sleek jewellery watch. The watch face is shaped like an arrowhead located at the snake’s head, with a dial that’s fully paved with diamonds and two hands to tell the time. The functionality is simple and direct, in contrast to the diamond-set case and bangle that makes this a stunning piece of fine jewellery – something you can always come to expect from Bvlgari.

Piaget Sixtie

Piaget unveils a whole new collection of watches in the form of the Sixtie, whose trapeze-shaped dial has captured the eye of many in the scene. The new case form comes from the brand’s fearless attitude to do what has never been done before, as is rooted in its watchmaking and jewellery heritage. Since the 60s, the jewellery watch has been everything but conventional, and the Sixtie introduces a new dimension to the story, playing with proportions, textures, and shapes. The Sixtie is crafted from your choice of pink gold or stainless steel (or both!) punctuated by the white satin-finished dial at its centre, resulting in a piece that is both jewellery and watch while embodying a discreet extravagance through its contemporary proportions.

Chopard L’Heure du Diamant Moonphase

This year, the iconic L’Heure du Diamant jewellery watch gets an upgrade in both technical and aesthetic senses with the first-ever complication watch to be introduced in the collection. The L’Heure du Diamant Moonphase is a stunning timepiece, with a night-sky-like blue aventurine dial setting the scene for the moonphase display. Paved with diamonds around the bezel and case, and with several more set on the dial as hour indicators and around the moonphase, the L’Heure du Diamant is nothing short of beautiful.

Under the caseback, the mechanical heart of the calibre L.U.C 09.02-C beats, a slightly larger variation of Chopard’s smallest self-winding movements, sitting at a still impressive 20.4mm in diameter. Charriol Mariner

Independent watchmaker and jeweller Charriol unveiled the Mariner watch, a piece that honours the Swiss brand’s expertise in watchmaking and its nautical heritage. The Mariner collection name is not new in the brand’s fine jewellery offerings, and the addition of watches to the name completes the collection. Featuring the brand’s signature chain link and cable link design in the watch bracelets, the watch comes in an array of materials and finishes, including yellow gold, diamond-set or a combination. And just like the jewellery, the Mariner watches can either be worn on its own, or be stacked and layered with other everyday pieces to create a jewellery look that is uniquely you.

Bell & Ross BR-05 36MM

A mechanical masterpiece that is made for the urban dweller’s everyday use, the Bell & Ross BR-05 is reborn in a smaller 36mm case – perfect for a woman’s wrist. Compact, thinner, and sitting closer to the wrist than before, the BR-05 36mm is decidedly gender-neutral, and born out of a desire to make the range of watches more accessible to women (and men who prefer a chic and understated watch). With the brand choosing to go smaller instead of bigger as done in previous releases, the BR-05 now has a complete range of sizes for everyone to further solidify its place as the urban watch.
