Earlier this week, Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025 officially wrapped and it marked the close of the biggest watch show in the world after seven days of exciting launches that sets the tone for the year ahead in the horology scene. From the 60 brands that exhibited during this year’s Salon, there were countless novelties that caught our eyes.
From sleek and elegant designs to statement-making movements, there was something for every kind of watch wearer, with watchmakers delivering new innovations, colours, and approaches to their timepieces. From the releases at Watches & Wonders this time, we’ve compiled six watches from the men’s category that we think would make an excellent everyday piece for your collection.
Hublot Big Bang 20th Anniversary Full Magic Gold
As part of Hublot’s celebrations of the Big Bang’s twentieth anniversary, five limited edition pieces were unveiled in Geneva, each celebrating both the legacy of the Big Bang as well as Hublot’s expertise as material masters. Between red ceramic, black ceramic, titanium ceramic, and the brand’s proprietary King Gold, what stood out to us is the Big Bang 20th Anniversary Full Magic Gold piece.
Powered by the house-manufactured Unico movement and featuring the eponymous Magic Gold as the main case material, this striking Big Bang limited edition makes a statement in every way. Magic Gold is a uniquely Hublot creation, born out of its in-house metallurgy laboratory, which also holds the title of the world’s first scratch-proof 18K gold alloy which makes it perfect for everyday wear.
IWC Schaffhausen Ingenieur Automatic 42 Black Ceramic
IWC Schaffhausen marked a new first for the brand and the Ingenieur collection at Watches & Wonders this year with the Ingenieur Automatic 42 Black Ceramic, which is the first in the Ingenieur line to be crafted entirely from ceramic – a material which proves to be one of the greatest in watchmaking. Personally, we’re partial to a good monochromatic accessory, and this sleek, all-black, lightweight, and tough timepiece – all thanks to the full ceramic case – makes it one of our faves for everyday wear.
Powered by IWC’s 82110 calibre, it features the Pellaton winding system which are also made out of zirconium oxide ceramic that is virtually wear-free, ensuring component longevity. The calibre’s automatic wheel and clicks are fashioned from black ceramic, while the rotor is a white ceramic, all of which can be viewed from the tinted sapphire glass case back.
Bell & Ross BR-03 Skeleton
Another watch collection that’s celebrating its 20th anniversary is the BR-03, which marks the occasion with the unveiling of the BR-03 Skeleton, as a way to showcase Bell & Ross’ expertise in both skeletonisation and luminescence. The collection features three timepieces in Black Ceramic, Lum Ceramic, and Grey Steel, which all uses the new BR-CAL.328 movement, bringing a brand new dimension to a collection that has already become a steadfast name in the “everyday timepiece” category.
The movement is stunning, recognisable by the X-shaped structure that forms the heart of the design and enhanced with the bridges and upper plates reworked to deliver maximum sophistication. Each watch offers a unique interpretation of the skeletonised movement, allowing you to choose the one which best matches your style – whether sporty or refined, minimal or maximal.
Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante
‘Minimally breathtaking’ were the keywords that came to mind when we first laid our eyes on this piece from Parmigiani Fleurier, which is nothing less than expected from the watchmaker that makes purity and beautiful simplicity its major design approaches. The Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante is a world-first complication that allows for two time zones to be displayed at once with the use of two hour hands: rhodium-plated 18 carat gold for local time and 18 carat rose gold for home time.
In staying true to its philosophy, the secondary hour hand can be hidden with the push of a button, creating an even cleaner dial. The Verzasca green dial is a distinct shade that is designed to capture the crystal-clear waters of Val Verzasca, an inspiring locale of pure waters and pure air that brings a new colour in Parmigiani Fleurier’s chromatic spectrum in pursuit of harmony. Finished with fine hand-guilloché in the brand’s Grain d’Orge pattern, the Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante will bring beauty to your day with every look.
H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Turquoise Enamel
Another beautiful timepiece for the fan of minimalism, H. Moser & Cie demonstrates once again at Watches & Wonders 2025 its eye for refinement belied by an understated design, only this time it brings with it a pop of colour that cannot be ignored. The challenging Grand Feu enamelling is taken to a new height with the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Turquoise Enamel, which brings a new and unique shade to the absolutely pure dial.
A painstaking process is needed to create the watch face, which involves hammering the motif onto the white gold base, hand-applying multiple coats of translucent enamel, the use of three pigments, and finally kiln-firing to create the fumé gradient dial that Moser is known for. The only disruption to the watch face is in the enchanting one-minute flying tourbillon of the HMC 805 movement, fitted with a double hairspring that enhances accuracy and reduces the effect of friction for a movement that’s as precise as it is beautiful.
Tudor Black Bay 68
An all-new Black Bay model joins Tudor’s lineup of watches in the form of the 43mm Black Bay 68 model, adding a fresh choice to the range to fit all types of wrists. The design is as you’d expect from the a Black Bay timepiece, like the stainless steel case with black bezel and stainless steel bracelet, as well as the signature Snowflake hands found in Tudor’s divers’ watches.
At the heart is the calibre MT5601-U, which is COSC certified and Master Chronometer Certified with METAS too, bringing cutting-edge technology and performance to heritage design elements encompassing seven decades of Tudor’s history. Refined, elegant, and functional (an understatement for that the watch can do), the Black Bay 68 bring bold and big to new heights while simultaneously looking the part of an everyday diver to match any outfit whether business or casual.
