Lebois & Co’s latest Heritage Chronograph draws inspiration from the maison’s history with gilt dials. In 2018, a vintage Lebois & Co chronograph at a Monaco auction caught some attention. Featuring Breguet numerals on a white dial, the maison’s watchmakers explored various renditions to match their contemporary design principles. Designer Matthieu Allègre ultimately reimagined the numerals, resulting in a collection that truly embodies Lebois & Co’s essence.

For this edition, Lebois & Co left the case as is – still rocking a 39mm diameter, 10.5mm height (13.9mm with the crystal). The proportions are on point, with a slick mix of brushed and polished bits. And that domed sapphire crystal? Pure retro vibes. Flip it over, and the caseback reveals the movement.

The big makeover here? The black & gold color scheme. The glossy black dial flips the script, giving the Heritage Chronograph a lush upgrade. Gold-colored Breguet numerals, leaf-shaped hands makes it a visual feast for the wearer. Sub-dials for small seconds and the chronograph timer sports a cool circular pattern.

Lurking inside is the LC-450 caliber – Lebois’ spin on the manual wound La Joux-Perret L100 series column wheel chronograph movement. It ticks at 28,800vph with a comfortable 60-hour power reserve, and a blue column wheel with polished tops and screws to jazz it up.
